It was a moment that was remineicent of a grat Oprah Winrey episode back in the 80's. Former child star Todd Bridges appeared on Oprah to promote his book "Killig Willis".
During the conversation, Oprah asked Todd to read the passage where his manager molested him when he was 11 years old.
The moment was gripping, but I wondered if Oprah would have made a woman read the same thing, especially if she is still dealing with the after efefcts of molestation.
If you can find the whole interview. Todd Bridges was very candid about his drug use, he sorrow over his father not beliving the molestation and the fact that he was pimping women and brandished varity of guns (i.e. mack 10) on the streets of Los Angeles.

Biz Markie - Just A Friend (Earth Day Remix)
"Hundreds of supporters from all across the country joined hip hop legend DJ Biz Markie to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Earth Day by recording a clean energy remix of his classic song,Just a Friend -- and some of our staff couldn't resist either! With our planet facing a generational challenge and our leaders falling far short in their response to the urgency of the climate crisis, its easy to succumb to doom and gloom. But each of us came to this movement because of the passion we find in working together to build a sustainable future for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren. http://www.repoweramerica.org/join"

Esquire Magazines Votes Names Christina Hendricks as The Best Looking Woman in America
According to Anything Hollywood, "Esquire conducted a survey of over 10,000 women, over 30% picked Christina as The Best Looking Woman in America; 17% of the votes went to Adriana Lima, the super hot Brazilian model and 14% voted for Megan Fox".
In my opinion, you can't go wrong with the Mad Men red-headed bombshell ( I also like Elise Neal, Stacey Dash, Kerry Washington, Kate Beckinscales, Erykah Badu, Lea Michele, Malaak Compton Rock, Freida Pinto, Dianna Agron and Melissa Claire Egan), but who do you think is the Best Looking Woman in America"?

Ooh Wee, Whatsup Wit Dat! Foreign Exchange Wows and Gains Fans in Akron/Cleveland
The quasi R&B/Hip Hop/Electronica/Soul/Jazz act Foreign Exchange stopped by the Stage Door at EJ Thomas for a great night of neo soul and real music.
For many curious concert goers, Foreign Exchange were an unknown quantity who closed Keeper of Arts' Keepers Lounge music series of 2010, but with each note, more and more fans became believers of the F.E. ministry.
One of the evening highlights was when the group and its founders Dutch producer Nicolay and Little Brother's Phonte (who is part R&B crooner, part Cedric The Entertainer and part fierce MC) took on today's "hits".
The crowd cheered as F.E. effortlessly took on songs like "I Invented Sex", "LOL Smiley Face" and Gucci Mane's "Lemonade" and turned them into neo soul gems that could have appeared on the latest releases by Erykah Badu and Raheem Devaughn.
Another highlight came during the encore, when the group paid homage to deceased Cleveland R&B legend Gerald Levert, by doing a great cover of the 90's new jack hit "Written All Over Your Face" by the Rude Boys (which was written and produced by Levert).
If Foreign Exchanges stops by your town, make sure you check them out not only for the rich soul music, but also the good time that verberates from the Foreign Exchange experience.
Below is an interview/performance Foreign Exchange did on Sirius XM Radio in 2009.

Reality Drama: Judges save Big Mike Lynch on American Idol
For the past few weeks, the the American Idol judges didn't need to use their one judges save, because to be brutally honest there was no need to use it...until last night.
However, all bets we're off as crowd favorite Michael Lynche was about to be booted off. After performing Maxwell's "Women's Work" Simon Cowell told Mike that he was saved to the delight to the crowd and his wife.
The only catch is that next week, two Idols will be bounced without the use of the judges save...may the drama continue.

AP: VH1 changing tone with black reality shows
....The cable network synonymous with "Flavor of Love" and its sleazy spin-offs is trading trampiness for fabulousness with a new slate of series starring seemingly well-adjusted rich and famous black Americans. VH1 executive vice president Jeff Olde admits that the shift from oh-no-they-didn't fare to more mature material is totally intentional.
"We constantly have to evolve and tell our audience different stories," he says. "I love that we've been able to get more diverse with our audience by -- in large part -- attracting African-American women to the network. We got them in the door with some shows, and now I'm excited about where we're going and how we're telling them different kinds of stories."

Oh Oh! Erykah Badu charged over Dallas nude video shoot
(AP)
DALLAS – Neosoul singer Erykah Badu faces a disorderly conduct charge for her nude music video shoot in downtown Dallas' Dealey Plaza, officials announced Friday.
Badu, a Dallas native, performed a walking striptease in front of tourists and pedestrians during the March 13 shoot for Badu's "Window Seat" music video. The performance ended with a nude Badu acting out receiving a fatal gunshot to the head at the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963..
Sgt. Warren Mitchell said Friday the decision to cite Badu for disorderly conduct — a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500 — came after witness Ida Espinosa, 32, of Vernon, offered a sworn statement to police Thursday. Espinosa declined to comment to The Associated Press on Friday..
"Having a fact witness that was there is what let us file the charges," Mitchell said. "After much discussion, we feel that these charges best fit her conduct. She disrobed in a public place without regard to individuals and small children who were close by.".
Mitchell said the department has had "people calling from all across the country to express their concern.".
Mitchell said Badu can either fight the charge or pay the fine. He said a citation would be mailed to the singer. Carla Sims, a spokeswoman for Badu, had no immediate comment Friday.
