See How $300 Turned into a $30 Million Dollar Movie Deal

An unknown film maker from Uruguay named Fede Alvarez, spends around $300 to create the four-minute short, "Ataque de Panico!" (Panic Attack), where a a robot invasion takes place in Montevideo, the capital of Uruguay.

Alvarez uploads the film on a Thursday and by Monday his inbox was filled with totally full of emails from Hollywood studios. In the end Alvarez pocketed: A $30 million deal with Sam "Spiderman" Raimi's Ghost House Pictures. Cool deal!


I'm trying to figure out how he did all this with only $300!
