"Fruitvale Station" is based on the true-life story of Oscar Grant, a young man from Oakland, California who lost his life at the hands of police on New Year's Day 200.

The Sundance Festival winning film stars Michael B. Jordan ("Friday Night Lights", "The Wire", "All My Children") as Oscar Grant, Octavia Spencer, Kevin Durand and Melonie Diaz. Directed by Ryan Coogler with Forest Whitaker producing.
