 There are  thing that comes from James Gandolfini's talk with James Lipton at Pace Universty.

1.)  No success is overnight as  Gandolfini cut his teeth in theater and supporting roles for years until this training led to  his star making role as Tony Sooprano in his late 30's

2.) He really loved acting.

To be the best at anything you do, you have to love it. You would think that once Gandolfini reached his success as HBO's #1 crime boss, he would just lived the good life.

 But no, James Gandolfini continued to improve on his acting skills.

Just like Michael Jordan or Lebron James working on a new move each summer, James Gandolfini did the same with his acting talent and were  the beneficiaries of watching this talent unfold .
