According to Entertainment Weekly, Golf Digest will go ahead with its scheduled January cover with Tiger Woods and President Barack Obama entitled: 10 Tips Obama Can Take From Tiger. (Here's a tip, don't cheat, if you do cheat, keep the number under double digits).
The article includes this paragraph " Woods is a good role model ... because he has always been able to pull himself together after setbacks." "Woods never does anything that would make himself look ridiculous."
O.K, you can stop laughing now.
The Golf Digest is in a weird spot because scandal or not, Woods is the PGA and if they alienate Woods, then will probably no longer have access to him. But if this was any other athlete, like Terrell Owens or Allen Iverson, magazines like "Sports Illustrated" or "Men's Fitness" probably would have axed that cover and article.
I wonder how President Obama feel about being on the cover with a guy who may or may have slept more than 10 women, including porn stars and escorts. The White House can not be pleased.
What do you think?
Should Golf Digest keep on cover as is or actually covered what's going on with golf's top draw?
