On Ryan Seacret's radio show, Glee creator Ryan Murphy said will dump the entire original cast at the end of the third season. “We didn’t want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years… we really wanted it to be true to that experience [of graduating high school].”
Although you don' want Saved By The Bell situation, where the kids were seemingly in school forever, is it really smart to dump the entire cast for a new crew or follow them as they make their where through life?
Welcome Back Kotter sort of did it and failed, while the White Shadow tried to do both as they followed the graduating seniors, while bringing in a new crop of students (where are you Stoney Jackson).
Only NBC's excellent football drama Friday Night Lights has effectively graduated characters but still had older cast members comeback in various story lines
But Glee without Rachel Berry, Santana, and Quinn, just ain't right...what do you think?
