Justin Timberlake Previews “Take Back the Night" from the 20/20 Experience Sequel Album
Wow, Justin Timberlake really didn't have much faith in the current "20/20 Experience" to release the next one on September 30th.
Although review were mixed, when the original "20/20" was released, most people did like "Pusher Love Girl" and 'Let The Groove In."
Clearly both of these songs would have been hits, thus delaying the release of 20/20 II until the Christmas season. By releasing lackluster tracks like "Mirrors", Justin Timberlake has made sure that he album will have short shelf life, which paves away for the the sequel in the fall.
It's a smart strategy, but no one in J.T.'s camp probably perceived Robin Thicke's success this summer.
It makes you wonder how much damage Robin Thicke's soulful pop "Blurred Lines" album will do when it drops on the July 30th "Blurred Lines" album, before Timberlake drops his soulful pop "20/20 II" album in September.
