Jacksons on Fallon: MJ's ‘Motown 25’ Jacket Came from Mom’s Closet?!?!

While on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon promoting the Jackson's Unity show at The Apollo, Jermaine dropped a bomb that even The Roots' Questlove didn't know that the black sparkly sequined jacket Michael wore performing "Billie Jean "on Motown 25" where he debuted the Moonwalk was actually from their mom Katherine's closet?!?!


Jermaine:  “He didn’t know what he was gonna wear so he went to my mother’s closet... she had this shiny thing that she wore, this black sequin thing and he said, ‘I like that. Can I wear it on the show?’ “That’s what he did the moonwalk in… That was my mother’s throw.”


The only thing more shocking  than that unbelievable piece of music history was how much Marlon Jackson was talking. It was as if he took all that frustration from being in the background and said "This is my time to shine and I don't care if I shut all of y'all out during this interview, including you Tito!"

Glee's GQ Photos: Too Racy or Overreacting?

The Parents Television Council are up in arms about the Glee GQ photo shoot where they are dressed scantily clad clothing. Now look, this is not a Miley Cyrus situtation, both Lea Michelle and Dianna Agron are above the legal limit  (both are24 years old) and Glee is not a Disney show, its on Fox.

Anybody who watches Glee know its not "Leave it Beaver". They slyly tackle issues that many times families do not want to talk about and uses puns and jokes that reminds you that you are not watching "That's So Raven".

Former "Patridge Family" teen idol David Cassidy went through the same thing when he posed with his shirt off on a Rolling Stone cover back in the 70's, while Elvis Presely couldn't be seen below the pelvis when he was on Ed Sullivan.

Its very easy for PTC memmbers to  point their fingers at TV and say you're wrong, you should think about the kids. But do these parents actually talk to their children?

If they did, they would be amazed by the type things that most kids say to each other things that would even make 20 somethings Lea Michelle, Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith (who is also pictured) blush.

I came across Leigh Jones, while listening to the Michael Baisden radio show.

Ms. Jones' "Free Fall" has been out for awhile, but its still a solid R&B song. While the comparisons to Teena Marie is a bit overblown, like most of today's R&B artists, while Leigh Jones may not have a gritty soulful voice, you can tell soul is in her DNA.
