All around funny man and creator of The Office (UK) Ricky Gervais gave a very revealing interview on "60 Minutes", where he told a stunned Lesley Stahl that he was embarrassed by his own wealth.
Gervais is a working class guy, so when he look at the money he makes versus that of a nurse or a brick layer, I can see where embarrassment can settle in. Maybe this is the reason why Ricky Gervais connects with his audience so well.
Although he he is quite wealthy on the many worldwide incarnations of "the Office", Gervais is still one of them.
Maybe not economically, but in spirit.
