Paul McCartney w/ Dave Grohl , Pat Smear & Krist Novoselic- 'Cut Me Some Slack'

During the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief concert, the rumors of a "Nirvana Reunion" with Paul McCartney, came true..sort of.

 As long Kurt Cobain is dead, this is not a Nirvana reunion but seeing Dave Grohl  destroying his drums  like The Muppets "Animal" again was a welcome sight along with a now bald, but still jangly Krist Novoselic playing bass as Pat Smear lustily played his guitar.

 I agree with Grohl who said his collabo with Sir Paul 'Cut Me Some Slack' is "Heavy as F-ck."

 At its best, the song is Wings at their heaviest and Nirvana at their guitar crunching grooviest.

Yet, as 'Cut Me Some Slack' soared to its climax, you expected a tattered sweater'd dirty blonde guy to begin wailing  like a wounded banshee; however that charismatic lead singer was nowhere on stage.

Overall, 'Cut Me Some Slack' is already a solid hit, but for Paul McCartney Dave Grohl, Pat Smear & Krist Novoselic's yet to named supergroup, not Nirvana.
