Reese Witherspoon,, 37, and her husband, CAA agent Jim Toth, were arrested shortly after midnight on April 19 in Atlanta, Ga., where Witherspoon has been filming the indie movie The Good Lie.
... the Devil's Knot star and Toth were arrested and briefly jailed after an officer pulled them over under suspicion of driving under the influence.
Toth, 41, was reportedly given a sobriety test, during which time his
wife became increasingly agitated. Per the arresting officer's account
in the report, the actress disobeyed repeated instructions to stay in
the vehicle and proceeded to argue on her husband's behalf."Mrs. Witherspoon asked, 'Do you know my name?'" Variety quotes the report as saying. "I answered, 'No, I don't need to know your name. I then added, 'Right now.' Mrs. Witherspoon stated, 'You're about to find out who I am.'"
